Torri addresses the challenges modern businesses face in scaling customer support and streamlining internal operations by enabling the creation of custom AI virtual employees. The platform allows companies to build and deploy both chatbot and voice assistants, which can be trained on proprietary data including documents and website content. Users can configure the assistants’ language, LLM model, and behavior based on desired quality, speed, or cost. These AI employees can then be seamlessly integrated across multiple channels such as websites, WhatsApp, Slack, and phone systems for 24/7 automation.

Step 1

MVP First (Text-Based Chat Agent)

We started with an MVP focused only on building and testing text-based chat agents. This helped validate the core agent-building flow, training workflow, and response quality before investing in the full SaaS rollout. This MVP phase followed a build-measure-learn loop so we could validate training quality and response behavior before expanding into voice, analytics, and multi-channel rollout.

Built a smooth onboarding experience with optional subscriptions and Stripe payments.Implemented a credit-based usage system, purchase flows, and low-credit alerts to support scalable SaaS MVP development and long-term monetization.

Chatbot Assistant Builder (No-Code Configuration)

Developed a no-code chatbot configuration flow where users can set language preferences, choose an LLM model based on quality, speed, or cost, and tune response behavior using temperature. Added brand controls like tone, display name, welcome message, greetings, quick replies, and chatbot theme customization.

Multi-Source Knowledge Training Engine

Implemented a flexible training system that supports multiple knowledge sources including text input, file uploads, Q and A pairs (with optional images), and website crawling. Embedded data into a vector database to ensure the assistant responds using company-approved knowledge.

Voice Assistant Engine and Phone Deployment

Built a production-ready voice assistant workflow with voice provider selection, transcription configuration, and detailed call behavior controls such as first message, silence timeout, max duration, background sound, and voicemail detection. Integrated Twilio for phone number binding and fallback routing, enabling real voice calls.

Testing, Analytics, and Multi-Channel Deployments

Delivered real-time testing with chatbot preview and voice test calls, supported by transcripts and logs. Enabled deployment across Website Embed, WhatsApp Business API, Telegram, Slack, and REST API. Built analytics dashboards for chat and voice metrics, lead export (CSV, XLS, JSON), cost tracking, and assistant lifecycle management (clone, modify, archive).

The design follows an MVP-first approach and utilizes a modular, no-code builder to ensure a brand-consistent and testable setup from day one. Key features include a clear user journey that separates chatbot and voice assistant configurations, a clean management dashboard, built-in real-time preview and testing, unified conversation history with transcripts and logs, and analytics-ready screens, all of which enable businesses to launch and iterate AI employees without needing engineering support.
