HKJMA is a Hong Kong based non-profit organization. It is an association of jewellery manufacturers who provides diverse and quality service for their members. HKJMA is a passion driven caring community that supports different charitable institutions. HKJMA aims to bring their jewelry on the global map by hosting various events and exhibitions. These exhibitions cover overseas countries like US, Europe, Middle East and other Asian countries. One of their well known jewellery shows is the JMA International Jewellery Show held annually. It is a platform for manufacturers from different parts of the world to exhibit their quality work and buyers can have diverse, best valued quality jewellery under one roof.

Business Problem

HKJMA conducts the JMA International Jewellery Show annually. Many exhibitors and visitors from across the world come together to make this event a grand affair. JMA conducts various lucky draws, awards, gift aways and other attractions. For such events, HKJMA designs new portal every year. The requirement was to build a portal with an attractive background and appealing color combinations. The participants should be able to register themselves from the portal and stand a chance to win cash vouchers after registration. The other important requirement was to generate an email template and send it to the participants after their registration is complete.

Project Features

The project is a web based registration portal where the participants can register themselves to claim their prize and get admission into the event. There are two registration options for the participants. One of the options is where the first 500 registrants will receive an assured reward along with the event admission badge and as soon as the limit of 500 registrants was achieved the offer becomes invalid. The other option was to register and receive the event admission badge which was available till the day of the event. For both the options, a registration confirmation was received by the participants on the website and an email was sent to them with their registration id, other personal details they had filled and the details of the reward, if they had won.
